The FeMC overthinks a lot that pretty much leads to her downfall. She has been lifted up from slavery to a puppet wife that is given extravagant food, clothing, shelter, and protection; Yet, she has not given appreciation to them. She might be intimated by the cold and ruthless male lead, but he has only taunted her so far. He has not physically nor verbally assaulted her in private nor in public. She was warned beforehand with her role and that she'll be dealing with the mafia, yet she remain naïve and ignorant despite being educated by a former noble. She always insists on going outside alone while she has been turned into a slave (almost twice) due to her extremely rare eyes and inability to talk that she cannot hide from others.

She acts too much of a saint despite her dark past where she was constantly treated like a doormat except for her times with the old ex-noble lady. Like, was she expecting to hug it out with the hitman that attempted to kill her? Something along like: "I will forgive you for pointing your gun towards me and the other girl just now. We are now NAKAMA forever. Tee hee."? I get that she wants to be free, but she currently does not have the means nor any plans to do so.
