]Urvasi is one of the top nastika's of the Gandharva Clan. She was one of the great beauties of the Sura Realm in female form, but switched to male form because she considered Menaka the light of her life and didn't want to overshadow her beauty (just gals being pals wink wink). With that in mind, it makes sense that learning Taraka's true identity caused Urvasi to lose whatever will to live he had left, and kill her the second he got the chance.
