As I said in some other place I forgot... This manga skips and adds his own "lore" and stuff, so it basically has nothing to do with the novel version.
For example the girl that said here that her parents didn't like her, or they abused her or sum... Well, in the novel her parents were the ones that supported and helped her getting away from home to the academy, since she would be forced to marry some old fuk if the nobles discovered she was talented or sum. And many more cases.
Tho, this it's still kinda peak even with those demerits.
