Ohhh, i can see this getting dragged out for another volume. If anything, i think this type of development is typical, but you can actually still make a good story with a love triangle. Either way, im sure everyone will get a "happy end" 😎👍
On another day of "introducing a losing heroine when there is already a definite winning heroine but I have to write something for this chapter, oh, she could've been the wingman or had her own side plot? never heard of that".
good thing most don't give a damn/even remember about her though.
This doesn't surprise me much. But I know how she's feeling. He taught her how to love herself and to find her own sense of value.
And the man she feels gratitude and admiration for loves someone else in the end.
Such a bittersweet moment. And I know it very very well.
I love her emotional maturity too. She is hurt. But she loves him enough that all she wants for him is to be happy. And his happiness lies elsewhere.
