Honestly the whole thing is just too unsatisfying. It's like the author just wanted a reason to heap extra punishment on the guy and this is all he could come up with.

I think a better way to handle would have been to confirm that the MC received a jobless evaluation. Then he could have the cover that he's jobless as far as he knows but everyone just assumes there was a problem with the evaluation and he's actually a Holy Knight (which the author probably wanted to avoid so he wouldn't lose the opportunity for people to harass the MC about being jobless). Other good way to handle is just not have this scene at all because it doesn't add anything to the narrative.

She's a princess, in which is basically an absolute monarchy. What process are you asking for? And it's an established fact that appraisal skills are highly regarded in this kind of fantasy setting. Which adds to the point that her words have weight.

Yes but also no. If you read the next chapter you'll see that even the KING listens to what she says without protesting or complaining and accepts it as a matter of fact, now I wonder why that is? Guess we'll just have to keep reading to know what the actual reason is. Have a good day.

I enjoyed this chapter, but it reminded me of another manga. The MC took a test passed and 3 other guys(using to to mind link)that didn’t like him said he cheated and the princess in that manga did the same thing. I can’t remember it but yeah this was exactly like that
