Those double pages were rather unnecessary. There wasn't really anything that made them indispensable. They just interrupted the scaling (depending on viewing device) for no real benefit.

Idk about you but I was taught to use hyphens to break apart words if you run out of room, which is exactly what he did.

I don't know about you but I was also taught there are specific places where to do that and where not to to keep the flow of reading with as little interruption as possible.
