I genuinely don't understand what's so fun about long-ass fights between roughly evenly matched opponents, and even less when you have like 10 of them happening in parallel, so the arc consists of only long-ass fights and it takes like 40 chapters to finish. It's so typical of these type of manga and anime, they start out really fun with lots of plot and character development and then they get progressively more boring as the long-ass boring fight density gradually increases.
