While a terrible experience and memory, to be sure, it's also ironic that the only reason she's dating someone is... because her love at the time eventually met someone and... y'know... had offspring.

...Which makes it sound creepy considering that their relationship is actually pretty wholesome, but interesting to think on how this came about.
