While we wait, any thoughts on what if we were kinda already shown what was actually happening to Luna behind the scenes, but we're just not recognizing it?

It's based on what's already shown to the readers. What if the scenes where we know exactly what's actually happening were to be obscured to the readers, to be like her nightly loud moaning, without Naoto's imagination of what's happening on the other side influencing the readers perception? It could explain most of what was (not) shown to the readers so far, but it couldn't completely explain everything as the random condom wrapper and maid outfit are still a mystery.

Maybe tankoubon scans replacing the old censored chapters too as well (please)? hint hint nudge nudge

I swear, this is the build-up-release I had been looking for. It's been a long journey (of 8 chapters lmao) to get to this point.

There were a couple of new childhood friends in the mix, and a bunch of quirky lore between Nao and Luna. It makes their relationship so much more fun... real... and sweet.

I think that mark was a simple insect bite, from the assumption that hickeys ache more than they itch. But well, she definitely has a hickey now. And for Author-san to use a fuzzy childhood memory blending with the real world through Nao's sentimental fever-dream-scape... "leaving a mark" on "his treasure" - with that treasure leveling up from a bag of chips to the woman he'd been protecting his chips from, Luna herself - I wish that storytelling is a poetic victory for anyone who read the manga up to this point.
