There are two people in this story that weren't annoying from the first moment, and it was the little kid and her manly cousin.

And I guess the MMC wasn't annoying at first either, because if anyone gave you the spiel that the FMC was giving him in the first few chapters, wouldn't YOU tell them to take a long walk off a short pier?

Let's not act like this man isn't justified.

yeah i just don't get these romcoms with these kind of character interactions... I mean, irl you'll find toxic relationships like this because horny teenagers and their crazy hormones, but when you paint it as lovey-dovey fluffy soulmate marriyng-right-after-highscool stuff it baffles me to no end. Different case, but it's the same feeling i get from stuff like Nagatoro. Why do these people like each other again?

Nagatoro makes sense because, besides at the beginning of the story, she's doing it to flirt and Senpai is very obviously a masochist who's into that. This one just feels like everybody needs a little therapy, not a relationship
