Can anyone speak to that lobster fact? I looked up lobster molting and couldn't find anything about new internal organs.
I think the translation may be inaccurate, and should probably be something along the lines of "whenever a lobster molts, it gets a completely new carapace, or skin, so you can say they're essentially restored to youth"

From my light searching, they can only regenerate new limbs (legs, claws, and antenna). what makes it possible is the enzyme “Telomerase” in their cells, which restores the length of telomeres that’ll increase the number of division of a cell can make before the cell’s death or becomes inactive.

i just learn that Axolotl can add NEW neurons to their brain throughout their life

She hasn't researched the lizard tail enough yet, but she is moving onto something harder? Starfish may be the better option for now.

I double-checked the raws and it seems to be exactly what it says. I'm guessing it's related to how a lobster regenerates its entire digestive system since that gets ripped out during the moulting process apparently...

Thank you!! I'm both amazed and grateful to get to learn this new lobster fact.
