Maomao, never cease being you."Good taste, you like the poisonous mushroom."
Thing is, drugs back in history were far more accepted than they are now. Now, I'm not sure about the region and time they're in, but various drugs were in common use all over the world until relatively recently."Someone saw one before."
"Drugs?"
"The country would be destroyed!"
I still don't remember who this luohan guy is supposed to be...
It will soon, and so will the painted nails...Quite surprised that she showed off her pinky. From what I've read of the story, it really hasn't had any major impact outside some minor character building.
...when this guy showns up. Maomao is quite the strategist herself, and as Musashi points out: the duel begins long before the opponents stand face-to-face.He's the birth father of Maomao, as well as a military strategist high up in the palace
Maomao is nothing if not thorough. That's a raher thick thin book.
Hum... Couldn't you have put this in a spoiler tag ? Thank you. He's the birth father of Maomao, as well as a military strategist high up in the palace
I would put a spoiler tag for this, had this information not already been revealed chapters prior. The only way my comment would be a spoiler is if you either came to this forum without reading the prior chapters (which is highly unlikely and sets yourself up for spoilers anyways), or you simply missed this detail in your reading (which wouldn't make it a spoiler as you should know this information by this chapter).Hum... Couldn't you have put this in a spoiler tag ? Thank you.
Well, if I said this, it's because the information is revealed next chapter, so you are wrong until proven otherwise.I would put a spoiler tag for this, had this information not already been revealed chapters prior. Okay I would like to both apologize and explain, as my comment was actually a spoiler... but it shouldn't have been one. In chapter 21, as Jinshi is telling Luohan (Rakan) about the lowering of a courtesan's value and Luohan calls him a thief for "stealing" Maomao, what this manga version says and what the BG manga and anime say are different (for some reason). In this version of Apothecary Diaries (the GX manga), he only refers to her as "that girl". However, in chapter 29.2 of the BG manga and episode 18 of the anime, which cover the same material, he specifically refers to her as "daughter". As these are all adaptations of the original light novel, I cannot say whether him explicitly calling her his daughter at this point in the story is what actually happened, but as that did NOT happen in this version of the story, it is a spoiler. I conflated my experience with the anime and other manga version and did not realize such a difference was present in this version. I apologize for spoiling and for doubling down on it, though I hope you can understand where my mistake came from. I have now put a spoiler tag on my original post so that no one else is spoiled by it.Well, if I said this, it's because the information is revealed next chapter, so you are wrong until proven otherwise.
Don't you worry about all this.Okay I would like to both apologize and explain, as my comment was actually a spoiler... but it shouldn't have been one.
