I'm not really a fan of the two MC just being better than everybody else. I feel like Beck was better in the build-up and how they actually portrayed weakness in all of the characters. But here, it feels like, welp, the two MC are good, nobody else matters. Especially, Mao's band. There's no reason for long-haired dude to just be btfo by Yukiko completely.
