It's not yet too late, she can still become a fellow vampire teacher (assuming she didn't fool around in college, if that vampire woman wasn't lying about the conditions to become a vampire).

This mangaka draws pretty eyes on her heroines. Nice art, but the story is just one big tease. I suppose that's about as expected for one of those publisher teaser oneshots. If it gets popular enough, the publisher might serialize this.

Maybe that's just too two dimensional to think every pair man and woman in a manga is after love/sex.

Maybe they are looking for a purpose in life instead.
