I understand the concern with most companies, but J-Novel provides DRM-free downloads of any LN or manga you purchase on their website. They can’t do anything to ever take a DRM-free volume you’ve downloaded from you- it’s essentially equivalent to owning a physical volume in terms of safety.

I know they claim that, but I still can't trust digital only. Also, I really do like having physical books more than digital. Though, ideally I wish that more would undergo the bluray model of "physical version with a digital code"
