Because it would be boring? For her I mean. Think about it, lets say its a game and from the very beginning you one shot kill everything... and I mean everything from the mobs to the end game bosses. How long will you play that game? Or rather if it is a good game how fast would it take you to start using items that actively make you weaker so you can actually have fun?

Never played a game? Boss phases are part of a concept, if you skip phases are you even a boss? Players are the ones who use prep and buff to the max at the start of the fight. If Senator Armstrong stripped at the very beginning, how would you ever receive that dramatic reveal that you were only damaging his shirt?

And youd really think the max level of a spell would have more firepower.

You can not "complete" something like tag or old maid, they are all round based and meant to be played over and over to pass time.
