Latest Updated not listing most latest updated.

I'm a refugee from Mangarock who landed on the shores of MangaDex, I've been working on moving my list over and when going to read new chapters i try to list it on last updated so i can read the newest chapters however it never seems to list the newest updated as the first listing may be 5 days old and the next one 3 years and then the next one 2 hours etc.

I was wondering if it was broken or whether it doesn't work based on your selected language but all updates in general and if not is there anything i need to change in settings to get it to work correctly?

I think it's because the language barrier. Last updated means someone might posted a chapter in another language that you excluded. But idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i wonder the same thing too.
