Its so interestingly weird. They could have just had faith in the 1% being a guarantee that he wont pass but instead theyd waste a shit load of money just to make it harder. It would make more sense if they paid for him to assassinate him or a cheap "Beat him up cause i dont like him" but instead they did that. Very interesting for me.
