I don't know precisely where things are as I avoid utoon like the plague (this comment page was a misclick) but I can say a bit.

Spoiler: After the big sea snake

It's a return to Glim, and within a couple of chapters he heads off to meet Elena, and from there they head out to the labyrinth city. This is the start of a very long arc. Nearly 300 WN chapters.

Once there he meets a 2nd girl of course, but their arrival, also sets off the ruling families since why would 'the general princess' show up without announcing an official function. Some plans are hurried up as a result, screwups ensue, and so (duh) Rei, Set and Elena are gonna be knee-deep in it.

It's plenty of back and forth; surface and dungeon chapters, and we watch the artificial monster stuff make its comeback. The dungeon's being used as a testing ground, it does not end well for most of those involved. One villain doesn't even get to face the heroes beyond a little luncheon because of his plans imploding.

Why are they even driving carriages if they think magic is omnipotent? Why do they fight with physical weapons? Everybody would be a wizard if they really thought magic is omnipotent. Your analysis is wrong. They don't think magic is omnipotent, by far. Thus they could have springs for a smoother ride.

In reality I was mainly evaluating the mangaka's attention to detail and imagination. Horses and horse carriages usually draw the short stick when regular mangaka are at work, unless the MC owns a horse him/herself and is riding it every day. Just like Set is a highly detailed character. Otherwise horses and carriages are a mere afterthought. If you look carefully at the carriage in this chapter, it seems to have some kind of shock absorbers, with a cyliner inside a cylinder design.

Why would anyone spend hours driving to places in hour world when they could just take a helicopter and fly there, saving a lot of time and frustration on the roads? Because not everybody could ever afford a chopper or a flying license.

Few people in this series world can even afford a basic carriage, let alone a fancy one. A fancy one with magic luxury options? Even less than few.
