@Renko Some schools in Japan are super strict. Basically they like to exert their control over students and have very strict guidelines for what students should look like . It’s to make students subservient I guess. They don’t want students to be unique and stand out. They have the culture where you should “fit in” and listen absolutely to your seniors.
