Dunno about that, they can use Set to fight with them so they can probably take on more quests and complete them easily. Though I don't know/remember how many days he's going to be away, it will still be easy money for their party.

This is what I was talking about back when some people commented on Rei not getting a super promotion to the higher ranks immediately upon joining. In this chapter the examiner directly said higher ranking people need to be able to work together and even lead others. If Rei didn't even know what adventurers are doing on a daily basis, how could he function properly as a high ranking member?

they get to treat set like a party member...they can take quest higher than their rank becuse of it and that means more money
