This chapter kinda unnecessary for the main plot. Except there's something wring with the drink. The only odd thing being detailed enough is the drink and the axe
you'd thought that the stench and skeletons would be a dead giveaway that there are zombies nearby. preety sure skeletons don't stink as bad compared to literal rotting flesh

@ABCsOfLife if more or less took up the whole volume but I think a lot of it has to do with how much info their is per chapter makes the plot move at a snail pace
@Animeknight also heard something about a...2-week delay? so really, Champion may have quality scans but they roll out here about as fast as making cars by hand
Yeah that was obvious foreshadowing as we already know trap-sensor is a bad guy or have some suspicious secrets.
That is why this escort mission feels like snail. Its better if they didn't explicitly show who the bad guy early on its getting boring arriving to the climax.
