Been a while since I read this so I had to backtrack and binge the rest. I am glad Kiss and Miguel finally met.

I gotta say, when I first started reading this I really didn't expect it to be as compelling as it is- yet I find myself invested not only in the relationship between Kiss and Miguel themselves, but their personal stories as well.

Surprisingly mature and thoughtful of Kiss to choose not to join Polaris yet. I wonder what is going to make her choose not to join them at all in the end (assuming she really does make a new team with Miguel, which still seems likely); deciding she ultimately prefers her time with Miguel, or something bad happening with Captain? I remain hopeful that he'll remain a chill dude even after Kiss starts falling for Miguel, but find myself less and less confident that he will as the story progresses.

here I was thinking Captain or Darin would set Miguel up, my bad for underestimating Rio's go-getter attitude. Hilarious that he expected to get praised just for getting Miguel's spot on the team tho, I look forward to his eventual downfall
