I'm hoping that the egg is Chronos or a remnant of Chronos. Maybe he became an "outer" as a consequence of what they did just to send MC back in time. After all he did say he "won't exist" in this new timeline. I'm just hoping, because it would be quite sad to lose a comrade like that. Plus, it would be much cooler if he did turn into an egg and becomes this OP being that MC can once again meet.
