The first few times it was funny, maybe up until the 10th time. But now they’ve done this exact punchline dozens and dozens of times now. It’s been done to death. Almost every storyline ends with this stupid joke.

And instead of fleshing out the romance with the bounty hunter and having cute romance bloom with them, we just redo this stupid “oh that’s not my brother, that’s my boyfriend” joke over and over and over and over… FOR YEARS NOW.

LET HIM GET WITH OAKLEY or anything new. Please. I am so done with dragging it out

It's always delightful seeing Pa Evans's advice turn out great for a lawman but terrible for Elmore's love life. It's so horrendously stupid how it works. I love it.

A lot of his advice actually work, though. It's just that Evans has a tendency to miss the real benefits. Then again, the entire series is a farce.
