It's ironic that the author of this story, also known for being the artist of "Bad Thinking Diary," criticized that work's narrative—yet this new story seems even less developed. It's quite bold to create a story with mainly unlikable characters and no compelling arc, like Anna being cuckolded, which might not appeal to most readers outside of a specific niche in hentai.
I get that some might find this kind of content appealing, but I can't understand reading this if you are looking for meaningful or heartfelt yuri stories.

Preach, here I was hoping we got past this whole thing with BTD.
But apparently we just have to be spoon fed NTR bullshit with no direction. Even then with the direction it’s seems to be heading, it’s just gonna be a hard pass for me on this series. It’s a shame because I was hoping for atleast a better plot than their previous work.

This is just NTR hentai. Lily might be one of the least likable main characters I've ever seen in a story. It's hard to see where the story could go from here with her character already so negatively portrayed. She was ready to cheat the moment she saw Rose. You could almost see her panties dropping. And the story is clearly telling you that she is going to sleep around a lot while Anna suffers. At least BTD was fun. This does not seem like fun or interesting. Did the author really think I would care about Lily after this? The author should just make NTR hentai. That is her thing apparently.
Well said. Basically everything I wanted to say, but even better. Honestly I'm disappointed. BTD isn't her writing, and her oneshot gives a good vibe despite being a bit generic, so I had hope. But here we are lol. I may say BTD is more tolerable than this xD
To be fair, if mangaupdates can be trusted, then this is the first series with writing from this author. All the previous works besides the oneshot, she only provided art. Though it's true that most of those works is no difference lol.
It seems clear that this story is aimed at an audience that values visuals over narrative depth. From the comments I've seen on various platforms, most of the discussion focuses on how attractive and sexy the characters are. It's a classic case of sex selling; the story is essentially packaged porn, appealing mainly to those interested in titillation, even though a lot of them tries to deflect by saying they are reading it due to the art. The NTR (Netorare) elements are pretty basic, suggesting the writing might not be the author's strong suit. But it appears the author knows their audience well, and that audience isn't particularly concerned with plot depth.
Those who are hoping for more plot development might be setting themselves up for disappointment. It's pretty clear that the story is centered around sex and will continue to focus on that, with strong NTR (Netorare) elements. It seems designed to cater to fans of that particular theme rather than developing a more nuanced storyline.
