Go to a crowded area closeby if you can find one, maybe even try and call the police while trying to make sure the person following you doesn't realize you're onto them.
If that was some kind of serial killer her and her entire family might've gotten attacked.
If it was someone that wants to harm just her (or maybe even kidnap her) they could just wait in front of her house day by day till they get an opportunity to do so.
Letting someone that's following you find out where you live is really dangerous. But if they do find out your only real solution is to get authorities involved.
