Thanks for the translation @Bariozikiziki, kinda glad to see this finished.

For me, this series was ehh, it had ok art and a somewhat novel hook (modern man adapting to medieval fantasy), but it was edgy for the sake of being edgy, as in it saw how popular Berserk was, and tried going for it's mature angle without understanding the nuaces behind it.

Trash these mangaka artists and authors aren’t producing a decent length manga just like anime.

is this from a novel? if not, what an ass of an ending, it had a really good start and at least the kills were well done.

Tis' a shame this was axed, it's rare to see manga ballsy enough to have an unequivocally evil MC that isn't just straight up murder-edge-cackles-maniacally, and we can also see at the end here that the author had general a plan for the whole story too, so he wasn't just winging it.

You can tell the author put a lot of thought into his story, actually stopping to think about the realpolitik of the whole thing, though it is a shame he decided to make the protagonists more akin to bandits than something like the Mongols, it does seem he saw that terror worked in a war, but not why or how it worked.

Anyways, it's a shame well-thought (even if not perfect) stories like this get axed while generic trash keeps getting shat out by the thousands every year.

Wow what a shit show. I was speed reading because the premise looked interesting and I hoped the story improves along the way. However it didn't.

I don't mind characters being ruthless. In fact I liked the idea. However, as you say, here the characters are just being ruthless for the sake of being ruthless. They also all act like complete morons.

First they teach the young protagonist not to respect slaves. Then they all act surprised when he doesn't regard them as humans. But it's the lioncourt curse all right.

Lets teach the boys to rape women. Oh noes he assaulted the daughter of our ally. Why did he do that surprised picachu face it must be the curse.

If Varian had any braincess from his past life left he would have assassinated Albert on the first opportunity. But he is as much of a moron as the rest of the characters are. The enemies included.

"We have the advantage in our castle...Oh no.. our enemy is raiding our villages that we didn't evacuate and left all the food inside instead of storing it in the castle." Face palm

tactics only consist of raiding the enemy villages and setting the forest on fire. We know from historical records this doesn't help in winning battles.
