Ah, it struck me as funny because I've seen 助けて (tasukete, help me) and 助けてください (tasukete kudasai, please help me) before but never 助けてくださいお願いします (tasukete kudasai onegaishimasu, please help me + a second please on the end) and had only seen kudasai OR onegaishimasu used to end a sentence with please. Although I asked around and apparently it can be said like that to be super desperate.
