if Chizu hates her mother just for marrying when the father is having an affair, why is she following in her footsteps and doing the same thing for herself?
At this point I dont see much consequences if she just rejects the marriage and elopes with Rin. like what does she lose? I dont think her job would be lost unless Ohtori is THAT Petty but I doubt he is. her Grandma doesnt really say much and is mostly delusional when she's around so nothing would change. And since she wont lose her Job, her Grandma would still be able to stay in the hospital and get treatment as its likely Ohtori would like to save face towards his family and just begrudgingly keep things as it is. her friends would understand her too. so what gives? what exactly is stopping her?
