I don't suppose you also know about a manga with the main chara being a widower? I don't think it's a horror aspect but it's like "His wife suddenly died and she was fairly young/younger than he is" and the summary mentioned that he'll find out stuff about his wife he never knew before (there was only one chapter/it was fairly recent though i can't remember the name since it was romaji) [I think he got criticized about showing up at some marriage meeting/goukon so 'soon' although his friend tricked him into it, though i might be thinking about another series]

I only got one chapter in but i don't think they had any kids but that kinda family drama does sound like something that'd be in a live action too lol
