Story's kinda cute, (the female lead is cute too), but the male lead is not very different from the generic and typically spineless male lead you see often in Heisei-era romcoms. As a oneshot this is fine, but I'm not sure I'm gonna enjoy a longer series featuring a protagonist with his seemingly weak personality.

If we ignore the ending where he chickened out and pushed her off of him, this plot seems very much like the story part of a typical H manga oneshot... or if you removed the second half (the porn part) of a typical 20+ page vanilla H manga oneshot, this is what would be left. Surprisingly, neither author nor artist seems to have dabbled in that kind of thing before.

Ya I agree. If a girl straight out ask a dude if they want to have sex and they act like that then it makes no sense for them to get together. This is realistically the end of romantic tension.

It helps some people to self insert and keeps the story from moving
