I have no idea how to feel. That was a good manga, but the Ryouma hypnosis/ forgetting Izumi arc just felt off. I think it might just be the director, did not vibe with his character at all. Not forgetting to mention, some of Ryoima's actions rubbed me the wrong way - at least he apologised for them, so I'll believe it was intentional character growth. The final arc had a few good parts but overall I think it hurt the story.
That being said, I'm still satisfied. Rushed ending, wish there was more but this is certainly better than other yaois out there.
Also Izumi is really adorable, loved the character designs. Rei as a mother was also super cute. The build up to them being lovers was fantastic, I felt the emotions from my screen.
7/10 great relatively short manga, loved the characters. If the ending was longer and the final arc didn't rely on an amnesia trope, I would say it's one of the better rom/com mangas out there.
Side note: can't believe I read this all because of a 30second clip I saw on Instagram...
