I think I'll miss JK modelling guide a bit more, but this series was also fairly cute.
More early and mid 00's highschool manga should get "where are they now" sequels like this.

JKMG isn't necessarily 100% gone yet. Wakaki posted this a few days ago.



Whilst the official Mitaina! Twitter is very 'the magazine has completed its run as was always planned' I get the impression that this was actually a pretty sudden decision, probably made after the previous volume released. The official Twitter said today that most series would be archived on Comic Newtype, with details to follow. So it's possible some might continue in digital.

Also there will be further delays on translations as it seems my copy will be in the mid-September reprint.

[Mitaina!] News about the works

Lucky☆Star (Manga: Kagami Yoshimizu) and the Lucky☆Star spinoff Konata 30 (Manga: Haruki Hongo / Original: Kagami Yoshimizu), are moving to Comic Newtype!

Furthermore, JK Modeler’s Guide (Manga: Tamiki Wakaki & Doug Kurusu) will also be moving there!

In addition, some other works from Mitaina! will continue to be available through archive distribution and related publication.

More details will be announced later on X and other platforms.
