Rys on page 11 be like: "My baby! I'll never abandon my precious baby no matter what!" The madame's maternal instincts are in full swing, but that did get Flio's point across.
No need for Balirossa to feel so anxious. Even she calls Flio and Rys a "perfect couple" despite that fact that they're an interracial human-demon couple with different cultures and values; and she's still not fully sold on the idea of accepting Ghozal's love (or perhaps sharing his love with Uliminas, which... I guess is a valid concern since I assume most humans in her world prefer monogamy). That's one kind of future in store for her if she does. I prefer team Balirossa over team Uliminas though, so if she wanted to have Ghozal all to herself, I'd be on board with that.
Man, this pregnancy mini-arc is so cute. Just look at this intimate loving couple treat each other so tenderly. What's more, this is lighting a fire under Ghozal's love triangle. The birth of Rys's child (or children, does her kind have litters...? she did imply it was just one baby kicking though; better prepare at least two names...) just might be the final push needed to earnestly get a second ship sailing in this story.
