yeah... no way Chro was ever gonna let that stand. I want to still believe a happy ending can be reached for both Chro and Minnie but unless Dess shakes herself out of the situation we last saw her in or Ichi wakes up Right Now, idk if that can come to pass........

I'm sure this arc is going to end in at least a semi-tragedy. I suspect Chrono is going to "die" in order to save everyone else, but it will be a sort of conditional death, in that he'll be in a state of reduced power and consciousness, and locked inside Ichi's Magic Circle (having been acquired by Ichi). This will plant the seeds for Ichi's long-term goal of completely overturning the natural order of the world involving humans and Magicks, so they can live side by side someday. Idk. Something like that.
