Have to say, don't really like Ginba, at least the archetype he standing in for. The Tough Mentor With A Heart of Gold doesn't really work when you make his first actions actively disrupting the party composition and willing to sacrifice the rest of them for his own ego. He didn't really do anything worthy of respect, no less than anyone else in Madara.
I know this series isn't the most philosophical manga (sisterly spankings~) but it feels like a rather rapid development to have anyone like him beyond he's a good fighter and a mid-tier rapper. Shonen manga really does tend to have a problem of understanding that real people would hold immense grudges for WAY less.
