Certainly trying, but it's just not especially gripping.

Action is mindless and lacks tension, characters don't capture a sense of reality.

Still respect it more than LN garbage or isekai though.

Will probably get axed.

Unfortunately, it got axed. Despite the good art, I also felt the action scenes to be lacking but I still enjoy the series as a whole. It just sucks that the characters never fully developed.
