This comic's ending doesn't make canon sense given that Bondrew called one of the cartridges a girl and even told Prushka the girls name. That scene in the manga implies that not only does Prushka (kinda) know the cartridges are part human/related to humans but also that Bondrew views the cartridges as still being kids. He wouldn't give her one to eat nor would she even eat one.

I'm reading into this too much aren't I?
