I hate the art-style. I really do. The kinda flighty, wispy lines and excessive shading.
The fact that the plot content is grotesque as fuck just makes it more difficult to stomach.

I'm in love with the artstyle, so unique, looks flowy and the shadowing makes it look like the characters have weight on the envrioment and wolrd.
The gore and "deep" contents in small dropplets, combined with the cute art makes it very entretaining and really draws me in

I feel like the contrast between the art style and the harsh world is really engaging. If the art was more realistic, then the impact of literal children descending the abyss might be less powerful, and if the story was more light, then this manga wouldn't be very unique or interesting.
