I want to see more Kaito instead of what the others think about him. And the mom maybe is an interesting character but I want to see more Kaito instead of her. It’s already years since we get Kaito chapter 😭

Here's my theory:
Jii is impersonating inspector Nakamori, it's too obvious that it would be Kaito. The head of the statue is still there in place but there is a photo at the front of the open box to make it look like there is no head and the head is behind the photo, like the trick he did as a child.
