i'm finally getting around to dropping this series, because it wasn't great but i liked it, but in the end it kept demanding that i go to some site regularly. I'd like to read in batches. this series was too clearly demanding endless battle chapters, so i won't buy any of it.

No doubt he just sucked up all the damage. That's what big bads are for.

New cover art suggests we're going to see some more of his sob backstory before we're through. Hopefully just a chapter or two as I don't him to be that compelling a character, honestly.
