I'm conflicted with the hypnotist reverting back to being an eyesore. Last chapter, she was made to look like a selfish yet innocent troublemaker. It's hard to call that out if she repented but at least the nastiness stopped. But now she's back to her schemes with no foreseeable comeuppance whatsoever, so I feel a twisted sense of relief that I can go back to hating her again.
I appreciate the author making a character that can piss the readers off effectively and effortlessly. There are so many stories with bad guy/roadblock characters that you just roll off your eyes with how ham-fisted they are written.
