Against all odds, maybe this comic will turn out to be pretty good?

I think the basic premise is fairly strong and I like the two leads, but the story has felt kind of disorganized so far. This chapter makes me hopeful, though - if we've arrived at a reasonable status quo where we can let the characters hang out and bounce off each other I could really like this.

I think its been pretty awkward going in a lot of ways so far, but I want to believe.

I think the author realized the senpai was coming off as an asshole in the chapters before this, and not in an endearing way, so making her a bit more chill will let the main cast have a better vibe together going forward.

I have a nagging axe-kun feeling...which is unfortunate as this series has finally hit its stride.

I've really enjoyed the recent chapters. It's got the spirit of GTO that can never let you down.

What a mess this manga was. Author had no path at all. We're still hanging out with the mind control senpai who literally caused this whole issue.
There's definitely a strange aimlessness to it. Started off decently, but it didn't get settled.

I started reading this and Witch Watch on recommendation for supernatural rom-coms, and it's very clear how Witch Watch is the work of a much more mature mangaka. Very swiftly defining the tone, scope, and our expectations. With this, once the ex-gf showed up, every chapter has felt wrong. Like the plot is galloping ahead without setting up the framework for the plot.

Not surprised it's getting axed if that's the case. Can't help but feel this is a bit of an editor fuck up.
