I do not understand the point of hypno girl or the time scale we are working with here. The chaos of the manga is bleeding into writing chaos and not in a good way.

The fact that they didn't speak for two months, and that he has still been associating with this mind-controlling girl the entire time tells me everything I need to know about this author's ability to write a sensible character. Warping someone's mind and taking away their agency to hurt them isn't a prank, it's a completely vile action.
