I think the style is more close to modern Yaoi style since the author usually does that genre. The proportions are closer to Josei than shoujo on those, however.oh i like the josei-ish style (despite it being tagged as shoujo, not used to seeing male protags in those if it's not also a romance); thanks for picking this up!
Her style is actually kinda distinguishing, even compared with modern yaoi, since her drawing is rough and sketchy, and there's hardly any sign of glowing effect/screentones used. So I think it's more like old-time yaoi, when the mangakas didn't always have to draw bishounens and too much H scenes.I think the style is more close to modern Yaoi style since the author usually does that genre. Great chapter thanks for the translation
I totally agree with you here! That’s what drew me to her work. I miss that. Especially because, similar to the other commenter, it does have a josei like feel in the atmosphere of the work. There’s not a lot of older josei that’s translated but my favorites are like you describe. There weren’t many effects or screen tones and the lines had this type of quality to them. A hand inked appearance. And the proportions are more adult. It’s also the writing style. I love how Kusama Sakae doesn’t spell things out for the reader. On other sites, I see many comments on this author’s work saying “I don’t get it, I’m confused”. You have to slow down and take time with the text and observing the panels to appreciate their works as opposed to works that spell out everything that’s happening/use heavy handed foreshadowing that leaves no room for speculation. Her style is actually kinda distinguishing, even compared with modern yaoi, since her drawing is rough and sketchy, and there's hardly any sign of glowing effect/screentones used. Thanks for reading 😊

I think superflously is mentioning about her other works, not this one, because this manga is not talked about at all lolYeah try rereading the series so far, everything makes more sense now. I like having to think a little about what's happening, not having everything explained. Not sure about other sites, I do not know where people talk about this manga really.
I really like the style too, it is so stylish.
Kusama Sakae means plot haha.I guess that if it is not men on men they're not so interested. We got a date at least.
Maybe I should check her other works, but I want some plot besides romance.
