This was cute. Kinda sad that it was clearly axed and the author had to end it before really explaining a lot of the world. I feel like Shijima's development as a magical girl was cut short and rushed, and the final chapter doesn't feel like a finale at all.
Spica's role in the story was clearly cut, and having the "original magical girl" and her powers (and everyone else's) explained in what is essentially a footnote shows how much the author planned for the story and couldn't include.
Also, maybe this is just me, but I kinda expected some hesitation and moral dilemma on the topic of becomming immortal, but I guess none of the students cared at all.
