Honestly, I think the author missed a chance to strengthen this manga's main joke a lot by not making the MC get buffer when they have the power surge in chapter 7. Like Machio in Danberu Nan Kiro Moteru.

Anime has too little a budget for me. They should have done a ridiculous live action with actor-idols or something 😏😏😏 I mean a cheesecake male idol in a magical girl costume vs. muscle men in emote head masks. 😄😄😄 The monsters would be classic rubber suit monsters, with zippers and everything.
