Using antinite on Tatsuya/Miyuki never gets old. Feels damn satisfactory to watch their faces as they turn into disbelief that their perfect counter-strategy just doesn't fucking work.

i guess the author wants to show the humanist faction has powerful backers (backed by another nation) or the government is ridden with corrupt officials propagating anit-magician sentiments.

or maybe its like a synthetic antinite (low quality scheduled for disposal) like how tatsuya recreate the mitama into CAD to be used with the Spec Ops Suits he used during the Yokohama Incident at the end of 1st year.
