@Kaarme Probably the case, the fire spirit here did complain about others just summon him to some wasteland/barren place (likely place that's VERY hot and dry)

Even in the story it mentioned snow spirit would die if she melts.

I really hate it when characters just straight up deny that the person they like could have any possibility of having feelings towards them. Its so ridiculous. He has come such a long way in emotional maturity, but she just denies that it could ever be possible or that he means it that way. I feel like a blind man could see the signs better then her.

Thanks for the update. While its still the usual frustrations with the romance still barely developing, still... with this chapter, we have another big leap in character for Lily, another acknowledgement that she won't be as happy in the possibility in going back (well, all of her loved ones are happy now as per her wish, and clearly this is also what the god wants, for Lily to attain happiness of her own. Still... the romance aspect is INCREDIBLY slow at this point that it IS frustrating)
Hmmm... what else? Paracelsus namedrop. Bishounen fire spirit. I honestly forget if they name their spirits since all I remember that contracting here is much more equal in that spirits themselves can forcefully have the contract removed or not listen to the contractor. While unlikely, a part of me wishes Lily could be contracted to a snow spirit, if they're truly that weak, then clearly someone with a barely small amount of mana might also be able to contract them. Ahh! Its times like this I wish someone would give us spoilers!

I remember this one fantasy book where this bad guy without much power wanted revenge on the MC. And he found this little girl who did have lots of potential. So he, like, groomed her to take his revenge for him. The problem: The serious power was in binding elementals, and current wizards already had bound about all the ones that were considered worth it.
But nobody had ever bothered with the ice elementals, so the bad guy made do with those--he had his little girl specialize in them as she grew up. Turned out that once you figured out their particular strengths, they kicked some pretty serious ass . . . for instance, their power kind of extended to building and shaping anything crystalline. He would have totally waxed the hero if he hadn't been such an abusive asshole that the girl ended up joining the hero.
